NXT – From Secret To Sensation (Blu-Ray)

Secret to Sensation is a fun look back at the journey of the black and gold brand. It features a run down of the 25 biggest superstars in the brands history. Whilst the order can be debated it is a serviceable list and the documentary style does provide some insight into the journeys of these names.

Match quality is largely excellent. Not quite as good as the best or Takeover DVD so if it is just the biggest matches in brand history you are after, I would look at that set. But this set contains some great TV gems and even a title change from a non televised live event.

My favourite three matches from the set are the Cesaro vs Zayn match from NXT TV, the Sasha Banks v Charlotte match from Takeover Unstoppable and the 5 star classic between Zayn and Nakamura. Those three alone are worth the price of the collection

Since NXT has arrived the entire landscape of indy and own WWE Talent Wrestling has changed. From the Awesome 5 Count Big E to the Wyatt Family or from Adam Cole to Nakamura. For me NXT is like the Hot Sexy Cherry from WWE. After losing the Wednesday WAR against a new growing Company it was the right decision to make NXT new with an Fresh Start – NXT 2.0!
Im looking forward to an Set from the new Era (maybe WWE24 Doc?) but for now I enjoyed the awesome NXT Blu-ray and how NXT become a Sensation after it was a litte Secret by Fans and the WWE. This Set will be for years an awesome achievement!

The documentary on the blu-ray/Dvd was pretty good. Profiling some of NXT’s biggest, best and most interesting NXT wresters. The matches that are on this are amazing. Quite nostalgic watching it back. If you’re a fan of NXT, then you 100% should buy this as well as the Best Matches blu-ray/dvd. Worth every penny.
